The newest version of Apple’s iPhone and iPad operating system, iOS 16.4, was just made available. Apple has released iOS 16.4, which includes new emojis, online push notifications, voice call isolation, and other features.
The new emojis are one of iOS 16.4’s most intriguing improvements. More than 200 new emojis have been released by Apple, including new smileys, animals, foods, and objects. With new options for skin tones, hairstyles, and other characteristics, these emojis are meant to be more varied and inclusive.
Web push notifications:
Web push notifications are another significant feature of iOS 16.4. Because of this, websites can send notifications to your smartphone even while you aren’t using them. This is helpful for time-sensitive information such as news alerts, sports scores, and other results.
Voice isolation:
Voice isolation for calls is also included in iOS 16.4. This function makes it simpler for the person on the other end of the conversation to clearly hear you by isolating your speech from background noise using sophisticated audio processing. This is particularly helpful in noisy settings like crowded cafes or busy streets.
Improved privacy controls, new camera effects, and performance enhancements are some of the additional new features in iOS 16.4. Anyone with an iPhone or iPad should download this update because it is generally far better than prior iterations of iOS.

Other modifications and fixes are also included in the update release notes, including the following:
- Expanding support for finding duplicate images and videos in an iCloud Shared Photo Library is the Duplicates album in Photos.
- In the Weather app, maps with VoiceOver support
- Automatic video dimmer for accessibility when strobe or light-flash effects are detected
- Eliminates a bug that could prevent children’s Ask to Buy requests from showing up on the parent’s smartphone.
- Fixes instances where Matter-compatible thermostats can become unresponsive when used with iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models’ improved Home Crash Detection features.
